    Hurricane Ian Hickin is the Founder, and Director of Florida Paranormal Research Group, Inc.  This group develops new Technology, Methodology, and Scientific Research Techniques in an effort to make Fundamental Breakthroughs in detection of, and communication with, intelligent spiritual and/or extra dimensional beings.  FPR is the only team that broadcasts Investigations LIVE, then hosts All (100%) of the collected evidence for public review and comment.  FPR operates a Paranormal Hotline and Investigates reported unexplained activity in the State of Florida. 
    Hurricane Chase Extreme Ian Hickin is the Founder and Team Leader of Hurricane Chase Extreme.  This team of Photo Journalists have set out with the goal of Broadcasting a LIVE Video Image from within the Eye of a Hurricane.  Utilizing multiple broadcasting technologies it is our hope to chronicle the progress of a hurricane LIVE on the air.  Hurricane Chase Extreme also tracks and monitors all approaching storms and reports on our website.    Hurricane Ian Hickin Hosts regular Update Shows, and a continuous Live Show during Landfall Events either from location or from the studio on multiple viewers.  All Shows are interactive and Live! 
    Ian Hickin is the Founder and Director of The White Noise Paranormal Network and Host of Saturday Night Paranormal.  This Network consists of The White Noise Forum, The White Noise Broadcast Network, Featuring Saturday Night Paranormal, The White Noise Project Paranormal Social Network, and a Coalition of multiple Paranormal Research Groups from around the State and the World.   Ian Started this Network with the slogan "Progress Through Cooperation, Not Competition".  This Network of Paranormal Specialists and Researchers Produces a Weekly Show featuring Live Investigations, Live Lab Experiments, Live Event Coverage, as well as Special Guests and Call In Shows.   Shows are LIVE at www.GhostShow.net

    I am the founder and Director of Florida Paranormal Research and The White Noise Paranormal Network.  I have been interested in the paranormal my entire life.  I have spent the last 20 years listening to Coast to Coast AM at night and dreaming about the possibilities.  Now we have reached a point technologically where we can actually detect the other side.  Following an early retirement from a local Fire Department I found myself to be restless.  I had so many questions about the Paranormal, and the Otherside.  I decided to start Florida Paranormal Research because I felt that the Ghost Hunting community was not using a wide enough array of technology.  I feel that the only proof that skeptics are going to believe is something captured by technology.  We have based our entire methodology on technological saturation.  We feel that if one camera will do then 5 will do much better. We generally deploy more than 10 cameras on a single investigation.  We use many recording and sensing devices and generally take home more than 40G of data in pictures, video, and audio.  I am really passionate about this quest for knowledge.

    With a Love for Photography and the Power of Nature I began chasing Storms and Hurricanes.  I enjoy this, however, I kept coming back to the Paranormal.  There are just too many unanswered questions.  So...

    I started Florida Paranormal Research in an effort to make breakthroughs in the Paranormal Field. We are not Ghost Hunters. We work with and support them, however. Our groups focus is divided into 3 categories. First Research and Development of new technologies, methodologies, and procedures that will produce more definitive results. Second conduct scientifically valid historical research and field investigations of locations where activity is said to be occurring. Third, to publish our work in a manner that will be interesting and informative to the general public. I call this the Paranormal Trifecta. We currently have members working in all of these three areas as well as an Administrative Team lead by Virginia Walters, to achieve our overall mission.  We are currently expanding our Research and Development Department. Current experiments and projects include, EMF field generation, the use of multiple and variable light frequencies, introduction of sound into an environment, changing environmental variables such as temperature, humidity, etc. We are also working with highly sensitive microphones, IR night cameras, low LUX cameras, as well as the Paranormal PUCK, multiple KII’s, and an array of atmospheric and electromagnetic sensing and monitoring equipment. We try something new on every investigation. Many times we have 5 or 6 different experiments running in different areas of the structure during a single night. We will continue to change our methods, equipment, or procedures until we find something that works!! Our investigations are managed by Gary Walters who is my Lead Investigator. He operates all investigations on a predefined command structure. Members are assigned responsibilities and tasks as well as investigative duties. Evidence is captured and secured following a scientific control procedure to preserve it’s validity. Copies of all evidence are retained by the Senior Staff the moment the Investigator returns to the command post. Any discoveries are compared to the original and the first copy for verification.

    Investigations are broadcast live in most cases and all evidence is hosted and posted on The White Noise Forum in its raw form. We feel that it is very important to spread the word about our work and our findings. We have developed the philosophy, Progress through Cooperation, not Competition. We feel that it is the only way to complete the research. You must publish your work! To that end we have created and expanded The White Noise Forum, a forum designed to bring the public, ghost hunters and paranormal researchers together in a multi tear, open format, discussion forum with complete file support and extended featured. It has taken off… In the first year we have registered more than 5,000 members and we now have five official teams on board and others contributing. We then started the White Noise Broadcast Network (www.GhostShow.net).

    I Host Saturday Night Paranormal on Saturday Nights at 10pm. Eastern on our network, The White Noise Broadcast Network. The past shows can be seen at that site using the on demand button on player #1. We carry programming including Live Ghost Hunts, live experiments, guests, and we cover all topics paranormal, with a majority of the programming devoted to Hauntings, Spiritual Interactions, and Energy Relationships. My group now includes 15 local members. We receive more than 500 unique hits a day on our family of websites. We have ghost hunters and paranormal researchers from around the US on the show each week to offer opinion and update the viewership on what they have found and where they are going next. Our goal is to network as many serious teams and groups as possible, to put as many minds as possible in the loop.

    I am very passionate about the paranormal. I am very selective of who actually becomes an investigator with our team. I am only looking for people who are passionate and are on the same quest for knowledge and truth that I am.  I do not extend membership to hobbyists and thrill seekers, only Passionate Researchers, Scientists, Investigators, and Technicians.  I expect a lot from my members as we are a very active research and investigations unit. Many people who join find that it is too much for them and others never make it through the long process. We want people who have drive and ambition and are willing to put in the long hours, and they are hard to find. 

    I am proud of what we have achieved. We have a successful website, forum, broadcast and now a Newsletter.
